Mothman researchers JACI and BILL KOUSOULAS, STEVE WARD and BRIAN SEECH are our guest tonight to discuss the latest on all things Mothman. Of course, we will be discussing their new edition of their enthralling "Bridging the Tragedy: Silver Linings in the Mysterious Ohio River Valley." Steve can give us the inside scoop on the latest from the Mothman Museum and Festival. Brian is an expert on the greater Ohio Valley paranormal events. We will be delving into Keel's writings and other Valley cryptids and high strangeness. We can also get into other locales associated with the legends like the TNT area.

Join Andy and his co-hosts, Jaci & Bill Kousoulas, PhD., as they delve into the lives of West Virginia artist David Thornberry and his childhood friend, singer Daniel Johnston, who found fame and fortune in Austin's "Slacker" scene of the 1980s. Thornberry experienced contact with Indrid Cold while growing up in West Virginia in the late 1960s. Many of the weird events Thornberry describes mirror those that occurred in Point Pleasant and Charleston, West Virginia, such as Men in Black, weird phone calls, poltergeists, and secret installations. Following these events, Thornberry and Johnston nurtured a continuing interest in Mothman and Indrid Cold - an interest that led Thornberry to investigate other unsolved mysteries, such as the Kennedy assassinations and 9/11, and may have influenced the symbology of Johnston's music and art.

Tonight, Thursday on FADE to BLACK: Dr. Bill Kousoulas and his wife Jacqueline will discuss their research based on the 1967 Silver Bridge Disaster in Point Pleasant WV and the mysterious connection to the many reports of UFOs, lights in the sky, and Mothman phenomenon in that area. Bill Kousoulas holds a doctorate in psychology, specializing in positive psychology, the science of “what goes right in life.” Most of his doctoral research is in the area of post-traumatic growth - the good outcomes that we gain by navigating our challenging life experiences. Bill and Jaci founded Phenomenology Research Professionals, a practice in which they focus on the correlations between paranormal experiences and post-traumatic growth. On December 15, 1967, trauma erupted in West Virginia - as the small river town of Point Pleasant had just experienced the deadliest bridge collapse in U.S. history. Before the bridge collapse, scores of area residents experienced a year-long barrage of paranormal phenomena. Reports of UFOs, lights in the sky, and Mothman plagued the area for thirteen months to the date, halting abruptly on Dec 15.
